Prime Minister Golob meets with two Algerian ministers
SLOVENIA, June 3 - Prime Minister Robert Golob today met with two ministers of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria – the Minister of Health, Abelhak Saihi, and the Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Fayçal Bentaleb.
Minister of Health Abdelhak Saihi thanked Prime Minister Golob for organising the visit and for the opportunity to exchange good practices and experience with Slovenian colleagues and enhance bilateral relations. He expressed Algeria's willingness to work together with Slovenia on concrete projects for Palestinian children. Prime Minister Golob thanked Minister Saihi for their willingness and expressed his expectation that the competent officials would begin drafting the legal bases to enable the two countries to carry out such joint projects.
Last month, Prime Minister Golob and Algerian President Tebboune signed a joint declaration between the governments of Slovenia and Algeria, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations. At the same time the two countries also signed eight memorandums on bilateral cooperation. This visit of Algerian ministers strengthened bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
