Minister Tone Kajzer meets OZS representatives

SLOVENIA, October 7 - Minister Kajzer commended the long-standing and fruitful cooperation with the OZS, stressing the importance of economic diplomacy in opening up new business opportunities. He also highlighted the support provided to businesses in addressing practical issues related to operating abroad.

"Our aim is to align diplomacy more closely with the needs of the economy, strengthen Slovenia’s international standing and create better conditions for successful foreign operation of Slovenian companies. We therefore hope that craftsmen will continue to play an active role in internationalisation initiatives, including within the Internationalisation Council and in drafting the new five-year programme promoting investment and the internationalisation of the Slovenian economy,” said Minister Kajzer.

OZS President Blaž Cvar presented the new OZS strategy for 2026–2030, emphasising the importance of the Chamber collaborating with state institutions to represent the interests of craftsmen and entrepreneurs. He also highlighted the need for close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs to provide businesses with more effective support as they penetrate foreign markets and strengthen their international competitiveness.
